Plasmolifting s a method of non-surgical rejuvenation of the skin and underlying surface tissues through the use of the patient's own plasma. The plasma enriched with platelets and stem cells, activates biological processes of connective tissue cells regeneration. The tissue metabolism is being improved and the cell membrane stabilization is being stimulated. After autoplasma intradermal administration, the fibroblasts activate synthesis of collagen and elastin, thereby improving the dermal matrix. The macrophages of the dermis are being activated, which break down excess melanin content, thus discoloring the areas of skin hyperpigmentation. The synthesis of hyaluronic acid, which is a cellular metabolite, is being enhanced. Through these processes, the natural skin regeneration is being activated. It becomes more moistened, fine wrinkles are being smoothed, and its color and turgor are changed significantly. Thus, the plasmolifting provides stimulation of the body's own reserve forces. The effect is developed within 1-2 months, keeping noticeable results for up to one year.
The method gives good aesthetic results in the correction of the skin with a high facial load. Areas of special priority for plasmolifting are purse string furrows around the mouth, glabellar furrows, periorbital area ("crow's feet" around the eyes), neck and chest, hands and hairy part of the head.
Plasmolifting is safe because it does not cause allergy and rejection. Autoplasma is not mutagenic and does not contain malicious components.
A course of the three procedures is performed for primary face and neck soft tissues correction, having an interval of two weeks between the first and second procedures, and three weeks between the second and third procedures.
For the treatment of scars, changes in skin relief, hyperpigmentation and excessive hair loss 5-6 courses are needed. The intervals between treatments are assigned individually.
The patient comes to the clinic at the appointed time, and the preconditioning is executed. The mask with anesthetic ointment is applied onto place of the planned procedures (face, neck, chest, hands, etc.). After intravenous intake of patient's own blood, it is being centrifuged and supplied with stabilizing components for preventing of clot formation. The resulting platelet autoplasma is being introduced into the concerned areas using the special needles. On average, the process takes from 40 to 50 minutes. There is a slight swelling of the skin within a few hours after the procedure. Some patients report of the imperceptible tissue tightening. Papules occurring on the skin at the injection areas disappear on their own in a day after treatment. Activity limitation is minimal after plasmolifting. On the first day it is not recommended to apply the make-up, use sauna or be engaged in active sports.
Effect of the plasmolifting is noticeable within a few days.
