Lifting of the face soft tissues using the Aptos sutures

The method of Lifting of the face soft tissues using the Aptos sutures has established itself as a relatively simple and reliable method over the years. Along with strong aesthetic results, it is possible to implement preventive measures against age ptosis of facial tissues. Comparison of the results in dynamics confirmed sufficient tissue stabilization for several years. This procedure is performed if the indications for more invasive methods and surgeries are not present yet, and the more simple procedures do not have the desired effect.

Aptos sutures are available in several variants. Their surface structure allows them to be reliably fixed in the tissues and lift them. The sutures are composed of a fully biodegradable material, and dissolve in 1 - 1.5 years after the implantation. The sutures intolerance is almost impossible.

The suture lifting procedure is indicated for people of middle age with moderate ptosis of the face soft tissues.

Aptos sutures allow to correct the age-related changes of the zygomatic area, the lower third of the face, the submental area and ​​the forehead effectively. As a result, nasolabial furrows are being straightened out, the corners of the mouth are being lifted and the eyebrow is being raised.

The anatomical aspects, facial proportions and the properties of the tissues are evaluated before the procedure of the suture lifting. The areas that are most susceptible to age-related changes are being determined, and the planned direction of the sutures to be implanted is marked carefully.

The surgery usually takes 30 - 60 minutes.
The patient can leave the clinic in 2 - 3 hours after the surgery.
A scheduled checkup is performed on the next day. In order to minimize the period of rehabilitation, the physiotherapy procedures are appointed if necessary.
