Joint scientific project of NMU them. Bogomolets «Augmentation plastics», 4-6 April 2009

On April 4-6, 2009 in a framework of joint - research project of National Medical University named after A.A. Bogomolets and the Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy on the basis of Clinic of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery in Poltava city, a scientific - practical seminar on the theme "Augmentation plasty of buttocks and lower legs" was conducted.

The showcase procedures:

  1. Augmentation plasty of buttocks.
  2. Correction of the lower legs medial surface by means of the implantation in the specified area.

The surgeries were performed by Khrapach V.V., Doctor of Medical Science, Professor of National Medical University named after A.A. Bogomolets, with the assistance of Ksenz Igor Vladimirovich, associate professor of UMDA, Poltava.

Glichenko Alexander Ivanovich, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, the head physician of the Kharkiv cosmetic hospital actively participated in the seminar.

These meetings at the Clinic of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery in Poltava are already traditional and are aimed at improving professional skills of plastic surgeons.

On October 3-4, 2008 the II Congress of the All-Ukrainian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (AAPRAS) with the participation of leading experts from Europe and America took place in Kyiv. The head of the surgical department Slyusarev I.Y. and doctors Slusareva L.F., Fomin V.G., Droga A.I.
On August 1-10, 2008, a 10-th jubilee meeting of plastic surgeons called Autumn Club on a topic Innovative technologies in breast reconstruction n French city of Peympul (Brittany). Slyusarev I.Y. and Slusareva L.F. took active participation in the meeting. During the symposium a lot of interesting meetings were performed встреч, reports on augmentation mammoplasty and facial contour correction with using of molar and zygomatic implants were listened to.
